Application of these Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions of sale, apply to all orders you place and any purchases you make on this website (regardless of how you accessed it), via telephone, e-mail or where you are purchasing as a consumer (i.e. for private consumption and not for resale or as part of a business activity).
Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them before placing your order. They do not affect your legal rights.
You will be required to confirm during the ordering process that you have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site (see date above).
Age Restriction
It is an offence in the UK to sell alcohol to any person under the age of 18 both online and in store. Therefore we will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and we reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this.
Please note that RougeVin operates an age verification policy which applies at all delivery and collection points and you may be asked to provide ID both on collection and at delivery.
Our Products
The images of the products on our website are illustrative only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee a device’s display of the colours accurately reflects the true colour of the products. Your products may vary slightly from those images.
Due to the nature of our products, we cannot guarantee that the vintage and ABV shown on the product page will be the same as the product you receive. If you are unhappy with the product you receive you may either exchange the product or return it for a voucher of equal value, valid for a year.
All product measurements are approximate only and the packaging of the products may vary from that shown in images on our website.
You should always read the labels, warnings and instructions provided on or with the products before using them and not rely solely on the information on our website. This notice does not affect your legal rights.
How to Order
You can order our products online via our website, by calling us or emailing info@rougevin.co.uk and making payment in accordance with these terms and conditions.
You can access your shopping basket, review it and make changes to it at any time up until the point at which you place your order. Please take the time to check your order before submitting it.
If you place your order on a Saturday, Sunday or bank holiday, the order will be processed and confirmed, usually, on the following business day in the UK.
Your order will only be accepted by us once we process your payment, at which time we will email you confirming your order. It is at this point that the contract between you and us for the sale and purchase of the products ordered by you will be formed and become binding. The contract that is formed shall be in English and will include these terms and conditions.
We reserve the right not to accept any order.
All products are offered subject to availability. We cannot guarantee the availability of specific vintages and ABVs.
Products
We cannot guarantee the availability of products listed online. If a product is unavailable, we will recommend similar items and collect your details to notify you as soon as it’s back in stock.
If a product becomes unavailable after you place your order and you haven’t chosen substitutions, we will reach out to arrange a replacement or offer the alternative solution of a voucher of equal value.
Wine Club Membership
Both the yearly billed membership and the monthly billed membership are year long commitments. If you purchase the monthly membership you will not be able to pause or cancel your membership until the 12th payment has been made.
If you have purchased the yearly billed membership or have paid for 12 months on the monthly billed membership, you can cancel your membership through the link on your welcome email.
Once cancelled, you will immediately lose access to wine club benefits, but if you are still within your current billing period, you can resume your membership to resume receiving benefits at no extra cost. Resuming/reactivating your membership after your current billing period has expired will result in a charge for the membership renewal.
